NCET: Exhibitor spots open for upcoming small business expo
The little guys get top billing on March 12 as Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology holds its fourth annual Entrepreneur and Small Business Expo.
The expo, which serves as the area’s flagship event for eWeek Nevada 2010, is designed to help small-business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own company.
"It’s the only expo in Nevada that focuses on the needs of small business," said Dave
Archer, NCET’s chief executive officer. "You have other expos that are more designed for a consumer audience. This expo is strictly business-to-business. It only involves people with products or services that are needed by small business."
Exhibitors at the event need to pay a fee, but attendance is free and open to the public. So far, 60 of the 100 exhibitor slots available have been filled. The exhibitors feature a diverse mix of private and public entities. The list of this year’s exhibitors include the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development, Nevada Microenterprise Initiative, U.S. Small Business Administration, Veterans Business Outreach Center, eWomen Network, C4CUBE, Charles Schwab Bank and Allegra Print & Imaging.
